Gold Series Kennel Details and Frequently Asked Questions

All of these kennels can be wall mounted for great inside/outside kennel runs.

	The Gold Series dog kennels have many distinct advantages over other kennels currently available. The gate on all of our kennels use a "cane latch" which secures both the top and bottom of the gate making it vitually impossible for your dog to push out the bottom of the gate and escape. The 5 ft. wide by 5 ft. tall modular panels are easy to assemble using only 2 bolted connectors per panel! Each panel weighs 35 lbs. All of the following kennels can be given a touch of elegance by adding optional scrollwork mounted to the top of each 5 ft. panel.
	The 10 ft. x 10 ft. x 5 ft. high kennel uses 8 each of the 5 ft. wide panels interconnected to form a 10 ft. x 10 ft. square. The same 8 panels can be configured into a 5 ft. x 15 ft. x 5 ft. high run or even an octagon shape which provides 20% more floor space.
	The DUPLEX configuration is obtained by simply adding one gate panel and one additional side panel. Longer duplexes can be accomplished by simply adding more side panels, or attaching to a wall while using the rear panels as side panels. A total of 8 side panels and 2 gate panels are required.
	The TRIPLEX is like the duplex with the addition of one more 5 ft. x 10 ft. run. This extra kennel run requires 3 additional side panels and 1 additional gate panel. A total of 11 side panels and 3 gate panels are required.
	The QUAD is merely an extension of the number of runs to 4. Like the triplex, just add 3 side panels plus 1 gate panel for a total of 14 side panels and 4 gate panels. Additional 5 ft. x 10 ft. runs can be accomplished by simply adding the extra panels.

What are the advantages of these kennels over chain link?	This kennel is very heavy-duty, all welded construction that has NO SHARP EDGES! Additionally, many zoning codes do not allow chain link fencing, but do allow ornamental fencing under which this unit may qualify.
Can the kennel be configured to mount against a wall with no back, so a wall door can be installed?	Yes, we offer wall mounting brackets, concrete mounting brackets, and ground anchor kits. Alot of people install 5 x 10 kennels on the outside of the wall and 5 x 10 kennels on the inside for indoor/outdoor capability.
Is there a space at the bottom of the kennel for easy cleaning?	Yes, there is a 1 1/2 inch space between the ground and the bottom horizontal bar.
Is this kennel suitable for aggressive dogs?	For very aggressive dogs, this is the most suitable kennel on the market. Also, this kennel is excellent for other small animals such as goats, mini-horses, etc.
Can the kennel gate be locked?	We do offer an optional locking mechanism for these kennels. Please call our office at 740-694-9811 for information.
Is this kennel suitable for cats?	The spacing of bars (3 1/2" on center) does not lend itself to very small animals.
Can special sizes be made? (such as 3 ft. wide, 4 ft. wide etc. gates and side panels).	Yes, by special order only. Allow 3-4 weeks after ordering for us to fabricate and ship.
Do I need any posts for very large open sizes?	We recommend that a post be used for kennels larger than 15 ft. long ( 3 panels ) sides. No posts are required if the panels are placed in a circular ( hex, octagon, etc. ) configuration. Plus, your floor area will increase 15-20% !
Are tops available to curb climbers?	Yes, the side panels with adapters will span up to 5 ft. wide x 10 ft. long.
Can I purchase extra panels later?	Yes, however our minimum purchase is $300.00 for free shipping. It is more economical to purchase extra panels at the same time you purchase your kennel.
What warranty is included?	We have a 1 year limited warranty on material and workmanship. You may return the kennel if not satisfied within 30 days. You will be responsible for the return shipping costs plus a 25% restocking fee.
What kind of weather-resistance paint is used?	Our Gold, Diamond and Platinum Kennels are now powder-coated for maximum weather resistance. However, over time as with any surface paint including powder-coat, oxidation will occur.
